There's also variety on offer, with special missions that seem to sandwich the bulk of play – including an early go at sniping – helping to keep you on your toes. Sneaking around machine guns rather than taking them on directly is a common requirement, for instance, while it's also key to prioritise targets when taking on a whole band of enemy troops rather than firing indiscriminately. Hit the body, and a second or third shot might be required.īut though it might appear that Medal of Honor offers the standard succession of shooting and running for cover, there's a genuine craft to the design of the game's levels.Īvoiding your foe and waiting for the right time to attack is just as important as simply firing at anyone and everyone that moves. Firing them is a question of hitting the '5' key when the game's automatic aimer – which scrolls up and down the target's body like a gauge – lines up with his head.
MEDAL OF HONOR 2010 REVIEW SERIES
Rather than chucking you into the mire and seeing if you sink or swim, Medal of Honor sets you a series of puzzles, tasking you with worming your way through enemy after enemy with the tools at hand. Such terms essentially revolve around mastering your timing. When it comes to pure action, Medal of Honor certainly delivers – just on its own terms. Realists might disapprove, of course, but in terms of a video game, such stability is often the difference between an ambitious game that ultimately turns out to be one big mess and one that delivers. While the plot might talk of uprisings and surprise assaults catching the western powers off guard, the gameplay is regular and uniform, handing you tasks in a neat fashion that ensures you've conquered one before you have to take on another.
MEDAL OF HONOR 2010 REVIEW HOW TO
These guys sure know how to organise a war – from the labourious planning stages right through to the implementation, it all goes rather swimmingly, perhaps because there are no real surprises.
MEDAL OF HONOR 2010 REVIEW CRACK
Very nice graphics and music, the dialogues are great, the missions are good. The next time the UN needs to pull out of a conflict, I suggest we send in a crack team of EA developers to replace them. Minor glitches happens here and there, but nothing game breaking. The campaign is short, but feels good and heroic to play. After searching on the Internet and trying everything for a bit, I find that disabling mouse acceleration improves a lot. Running, crouching, even aiming and moving the mouse feels pretty bad. There is a significant input-lag for me, almost half a seconds.
Not a big deal, but still pretty annoying. Once updated, the game will fail to launch via Origin, you need to launch the game manually via the game installation folder again.
MEDAL OF HONOR 2010 REVIEW UPDATE
The updater will fail to update the game, and you have to manually launch the updated from the game installation folder. First of all, the game doesn't launch properly via EA Origin app. I play purely for the single player campaign, since I am not a fan of multiplayer FPS. I play purely for the single player campaign, since I am not a fan of multiplayer I bought and played the EA Origin version of this game. I bought and played the EA Origin version of this game. If you need a break from the arcade style of recent first-person shooters, then go out and get yourself a copy of Medal of Honor (2010) for a more realistic take on gaming. Overall, this is a successful solid reboot of the series. Voice acting is spot on, and music delivers a punch. Graphics and visuals can go from dull and average to absolutely stunning and attractive, depending on the mission. There are a few maps out right now, but more will be out soon. The MP runs of an exp-based system where earning points awards you with new upgrades to your weapon such as sights and barrels and types of ammunition. You'll be dead soon and will hate the game for it. You can't just run in and start shooting everything like in CoD. In this MP, you actually require a bit of skill to do well. The game delivers its best in its multiplayer.

You'll go from stealthy sniping missions, to full out warfare and cave raids. You are a Tier 1 Operator, a unique brand of soldiers who are sent into the most intense action. You are in the War in Afghanistan, fighting the Taliban forces in actual operations that took place in 2001-2005.
The SP is action-packed but short, with only 5 hrs of gameplay. This game is about realism, not arcade shooting. The SP is action-packed but short, with only 5 hrs of Not a CoD beater but definitely close.
